There`s a few tips:

1. Less than 15 character

Do not make to long name such as howtomakeyoursitefamous.com it`s terrible. Try another name but have a same meaning. But some time someone already come out with same name idea to. So, use your creativity to  find another name.

2. Add some keyword

Using keyword for name it`s not bad idea. Especially, when you want to monietize your site. Compatibility site contain and domain will very helpfull to show up at search engine first page.

3. Easy to remember

Maybe you want to make unique name, but please consider that a name must easy to remember and easy to write (at first time i knew about google, i always misspelled with goggle). When visitor love your site, make sure they will remember where to come.

is that possible to fake pagerank? and the answer is yes.

From that i found, with some blackhat trick is very possible to do that. some people want their site/blog have reputation, but just want sell domain with high prize. the victim usually newbie that want to start online business.
This day, many site that offering pagerank checking. But the simple ways, just type "info:domainname" in google search. A fake pagerank usualy dont have many backlink, a site with high Pagerank have many backlink.

How it`s works?
With little cheating script, usually they call another header from another site with high Pagerank.

Google always update their system and their rules seem more strict in everytime. I don`t know if those blackhat way until when those cheating script can be use.

In domain auction, they offer many expired domains. If you are lucky, you can have a cheap domain with high pagerank. But remember maybe some of them have fake pagerank. The auction company didn`t have any resposbilty if you buy this.Some third party site, sometime offer more filter than company does. With advance search it`s more easy to eliminated fake pagerank.

Pagerank can not be required, because the final determinant is google. Google will hold its regular calculation of the value of your site or blog.
